Minecraft 1.21.120.21

The developers have released Minecraft Preview 1.21.120.21. This update includes improved visuals for Copper Lanterns and Torches, updates to the interface and graphics, and several fixes for blocks and mobs. Technical changes for the editor and API were also introduced.

Changes

• Updated the game menu with a new layout and design.
• Copper Lantern and Copper Torch have new textures to help distinguish them from the regular ones.
• Glass blocks and panes now appear slightly transparent when the camera is very close.
• Copper Golem with a flower on its head now drops a Poppy when turning into a statue.

Java Parity

• The size of Tadpole shadows now matches Java Edition.
• The hitbox of the Copper Golem Statue block now matches Java Edition.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue that prevented deleting "Miscellaneous" content from storage management.
• The Copper Golem Statue item no longer appears offset when dropped.
• The Copper Golem Statue now glows when placed in a Glow Item Frame.
• Shields, Decorated Pots, and Maps now glow when placed in a Glow Item Frame.
• The Lead now attaches to the Copper Golem's body instead of its Lightning Rod.
• The death screen no longer briefly appears after using a Bed.
• Weathered Copper Bars no longer have out-of-place pixels.
• Copper Chests are no longer incorrectly labeled as "Chest" in the UI.
• Fixed noisy and jittery water surfaces when water waves are enabled in Vibrant Visuals.
• Reduced distortion on water reflections during the Nausea effect with Vibrant Visuals enabled.
• Tilling Coarse Dirt no longer converts it directly to Farmland — behavior is now correct.
