Minecraft 1.21.120.20 [Beta]
The Minecraft Beta 1.21.120.20 for Android has been released. This update improves Shelf vibrations, enhances the Copper Golem, adds weather-related visual effects, fixes many bugs, and includes graphical improvements in the Vibrant Visuals mode.
Changes
- Shelf:
- When a player places, removes, or swaps an item on a regular Shelf — it emits a vibration with frequency 3.
- When a player places or removes an item on a Powered Shelf — it emits a vibration with frequency 3.
- When a player swaps an item on a Powered Shelf — it emits a vibration with frequency 6.
- Suspicious Stew is now available in Creative Mode with effect descriptions.
- Chicken Jockeys can now drop the "Lava Chicken" music disc when killed by a player or a tamed Wolf.
- The first-person camera now slightly shifts backward when climbing Ladders or Vines.
- Updated the message that appears when more players are needed to sleep to skip the night.
- Mobs now become slightly transparent when the camera gets close or passes through them.

Vanilla Parity
- Ambient occlusion for partial blocks now works the same as in the Java Edition.

Bug Fixes
- The
/damagecommand now works properly on End Crystals again. - The
/locate biomecommand no longer points to incorrect biome locations. - Fixed sign text not loading correctly from very old worlds.
- Worlds with missing Marketplace templates now properly re-download the template and load the world.
- Enchantment glint animation no longer continues when the game is paused.
- Snowflakes no longer flicker when the player moves.
- The keyboard button on the chat screen is now only visible when using touch controls.
- Fixed a bug where Armor Trims appeared on untrimmed armor in the inventory.
- Fixed world tiles backed by Xbox cloud storage showing incorrectly when local data was corrupt.
- Players can now move items from the Creative Inventory to their inventory again when using Pocket UI.
- Structures no longer generate on top of features like trees at chunk borders.
- The Copper Golem Statue no longer has cut-off pixels when sitting.
- The Copper Chest now uses a natural sound attenuation curve when opening and closing.
- The Copper Golem’s steps and spins now use a natural attenuation curve for sounds.
- The Copper Golem now drops its held item when interacted with while the player is holding an offhand item or wearing armor.
