Minecraft 1.21.110.23

The developers have released a new Minecraft 1.21.110.23 beta for Android. This week brings new decorative blocks — the Copper Torch, Copper Bars, Copper Chain, and Copper Lantern! Various bugs have also been fixed, and some changes have been made.

Copper Decorations

• Added Copper Torch.
  • A green variant of the regular torch, crafted using a copper nugget, coal, and stick.
  • Functionally identical to the regular torch.
• Added Copper Bars.
  • Work like iron bars.
  • Made from copper and oxidize over time.
• Added Copper Chain.
  • Equivalent to iron chain (now renamed to "Iron Chain").
  • Also oxidizes over time.
• Added Copper Lantern.
  • Crafted like a regular lantern, but using copper and a copper torch.
  • Changes appearance over time due to oxidation.
  • Functionally identical to the regular lantern.

Changes

• Added block definitions to blocks.json: "oak_planks", "spruce_planks", "birch_planks", "jungle_planks", "acacia_planks", and "dark_oak_planks".
• Also added definitions for: "mossy_stone_brick_double_slab", "smooth_quartz_double_slab", "normal_stone_double_slab", "cut_sandstone_double_slab", and "cut_red_sandstone_double_slab".
• Text-to-Speech support now works across all Dressing Room pages.

Bug Fixes

• Copper chests now play the correct sounds when walking, jumping, and landing on them.
• Copper Statue:
  • Pose animation now works correctly in multiplayer and split screen.
  • Now gets pushed by pistons like other non-full decorative blocks.
  • Can now be waterlogged.
• Copper Golem:
  • Pathfinding now only includes reachable blocks.
  • Will no longer try to transport items while leashed.
  • Can now be leashed to other entities.
  • Sits correctly in boats.
  • Items no longer duplicate when transforming into a statue.
  • Will no longer try to reach unreachable blocks under floating chests.
  • No longer creates two statues when fully oxidized.
  • Collision box reduced to fit through doors.
  • Footstep sound fixed.
• All oxidized variants of Lightning Rods now emit a Redstone signal when struck by lightning.
• Comparator now reads signal from the back of the Shelf correctly in all orientations.
• All Lightning Rods now flash white when struck by lightning.
• Wolf Armor no longer appears only after taking damage.
• Foxes now treat Honey Bottles as food and prioritize picking them up.
• Improved biome blending around frozen rivers.
• In Creative mode, interacting with an unpowered Shelf now replaces the Shelf item with the selected item instead of swapping them.
• Items now visually sit properly on the Shelf.
• The /hud command now correctly hides all touch buttons.
• The /hud command also hides the horse, camel, and locator bars.
• Action bar messages now have a shadow.
• The "Pick Block" function (middle mouse button) now works with all variations of the Light block — from light_block_0 to light_block_15.
