Minecraft 1.21.110.22

The Minecraft Beta and Preview 1.21.110.22 update is here with new features! In this update, horses received Copper Horse Armor, shelves gained new features, as well as other changes and bug fixes.

Changes

• Lightning Rods now oxidize like other Copper Blocks and like the one on the Copper Golem.
• Added Copper Horse Armor.
  • Has the same chest generation chances as Iron Horse Armor.
  • Armor toughness: 4.
• Shelves can now be waterlogged.
• Shelf storage now affects the Comparator output signal depending on which slots are occupied.
  • Each Shelf slot corresponds to 1 bit.
  • The signal strength is determined by converting the 3 slot bits into a decimal value.
  • All slots empty [000] — signal strength is 0.
  • Only the first slot occupied [100] — signal strength is 1.
  • Only the second slot occupied [010] — signal strength is 2.
  • Only the third slot occupied [001] — signal strength is 4.
  • All slots occupied [111] — signal strength is 7.
• Known Shelf issues:
  • Comparators currently only read shelves in certain orientations.
  • Comparators currently cannot read shelves through blocks.
• The Copper Golem spawn egg now comes after the Iron Golem spawn egg.
• Hoppers and Droppers can now add or remove items from Shelves.
• Axe durability is now consumed when scraping and reviving an unoxidized Copper Golem Statue.

Bug Fixes

• The liquid sensing system in Realms no longer causes crashes.
• Armor tooltips now display armor and armor toughness values.
• In Adventure Mode, you can again break destructible valid blocks behind water.
• Shelf place and take item sounds now play correctly.
• Shelf power on and off sounds now play correctly.
• Non-solid blocks can no longer be placed on the top, bottom, front, or sides of Shelves.
• The contents of Bundles no longer disappear after being placed on a Shelf.
• Powered Shelves now connect even when made of different wood types.
• Crimson and Warped Shelves can no longer be used as smelting fuel.
• Copper Chests now have the correct name.
• Attempting to place a painting on a block that already has one no longer repeatedly plays the place sound.
• Crimson and Warped Shelves are no longer flammable.
• The Copper Golem no longer takes fall damage.
• Transparent blocks in Enderman's hands are now transparent again.
• The facing direction of Command Blocks is now consistent with other blocks when placed at certain coordinates.
• Rider rotation lock now applies to cameras when using camera-relative movement.
• Blending for legacy chunks enabled.
  • This fixes an issue where blocks were missing from the terrain after loading into the world in some Starter Biomes.
• Colored text on signs no longer appears dark in Vibrant Visuals mode.
• Touch Controls:
  • The "Invert Y-Axis" setting now works correctly for spectators.
  • The "Swap Jump And Sneak" option no longer changes the position of the swim/fly up buttons.
• The "Textures & More" button icon is now correctly sized in line with other buttons.
