Minecraft 1.21.100.23

The test version of Minecraft 1.21.100.23 for Android has been released. The Autumn Update with the first new features — Copper Golem, Copper Chest, Copper Tools, and Armor!

This update focuses on improving inventory management. New content:

Copper Golem

Helpful, order-loving companions that will bring your base to life!

• Crafted from Copper and a Carved Pumpkin.
• Removes items from Copper Chests and sorts them into nearby chests by item type.
• Drops between 1 and 3 Copper Ingots upon death.
• If not holding an item, searches for nearby Copper Chests to pick up items.
• Can interact with any oxidized or waxed Copper Chests.
• Can carry up to 16 items in a stack at a time.
• Can pick up any item from a Copper Chest.
• If holding an item, searches for nearby Chests (regular or trapped) to place the item.
• Places the item in a Chest if it is empty or already contains the same item type.
• Checks up to 10 Chests or Copper Chests in one cycle.
• If no suitable Chest is found, the golem idles for 7 seconds before trying again.
• Search radius: 32 blocks horizontally and 8 blocks vertically.

Copper Chest

Summon a Copper Golem to get your first Copper Chest. It can oxidize over time or be preserved with wax. Just drop in items, and the golem will sort them for you!

• Available in oxidized and waxed variants.
• Copper Chests oxidize gradually but can be waxed.
• Crafted from a regular Chest and Copper Ingots.

Copper Tools

Do not oxidize but look beautiful.

• Crafted and repaired with Copper Ingots.
• Deal the same damage as Stone but are more durable.
• Faster than Stone tools but slower than Iron ones.
• Higher enchantability than Diamond tools, slightly lower than Iron tools.
• Tool variants:
  • Copper Axe
  • Copper Hoe
  • Copper Pickaxe
  • Copper Shovel
  • Copper Sword

Copper Armor

• Armor pieces:
  • Copper Helmet
  • Copper Chestplate
  • Copper Leggings
  • Copper Boots
• More durable than Leather but weaker than Iron.
• Slightly lower enchantability compared to Iron armor.
• Smelting Copper gear yields Copper Nuggets.

Changes

6 changes have been made:

• Leashed mobs can now enter Boats, Minecarts, and other rideable entities if the leash is slackened.
• Mobs will automatically dismount from vehicles if the leash becomes taut.
• The layout of items in the settings menu has been improved.
• Added "The Void" as a Superflat world preset.
• The particle count for block destruction no longer requires Experimental Features to be enabled.
• Added the "Lava Chicken" music disc by Hyper Potions.
  • Dropped when killing a zombie riding a chicken (chicken jockey).
  • The disc will not drop if the chicken dies before the zombie.
  • When played in a jukebox, it outputs a comparator signal strength of 9.

Bug Fixes

16 bugs have been fixed:

• The hotbar now works correctly on all touch devices.
• The touch area matches the texture even when custom controls are enabled.
• Fixed incorrect shading on the edges of partial blocks (such as cakes, trapdoors, etc.).
• Glowing text on signs no longer becomes overly bright when viewed directly with Vibrant Visuals enabled.
• Fixed incorrect behavior of 'parent_setup' in the graphical context.
• Custom armor no longer disables knockback on certain platforms.
• Happy Ghast no longer suffocates when pressed against a wall.
• Boats no longer produce step sounds when on land.
• Air friction now only affects Boats when they are leashed.
• Boats no longer orbit around the player when leashed.
• Boats once again retain momentum when falling off ledges.
• Fixed a bug where the Happy Ghast sound could occasionally play during the loading screen.
• Ghast sound improvements:
  • Ghasts can now be heard within 80 blocks.
  • Happy Ghasts can now be heard within 64 blocks.
• Ambient flying mob sounds are no longer muted.
• Blocks with incorrect textures now trigger additional content errors.
