Minecraft 1.21.100.21

The Minecraft 1.21.100.21 beta version for Android has been released. This update focuses on improving parity with the Java Edition by introducing 4 related changes and adding 2 new features. Additionally, 12 bugs have been fixed and overall update stability has been improved.

Changes

• Graphics and render distance settings have been moved to the top of the Video Settings menu for easier access.
• The new audio settings tab now includes sound previews.

Vanilla Parity

• Endermen can now pick up all block types, just like in the Java Edition.
• The block carried by an Enderman can now be set via commands. It will then attempt to place it as normal.
• Endermen no longer pick up blocks without direct line of sight.
• Endermen no longer place blocks in invalid locations.

Bug Fixes

• The block breaking animation now stops when opening the Pause Menu.
• Fixed an issue where some blocks wouldn’t highlight when targeted.
• Leads no longer render from the player's forehead when a lead_hold point is not defined.
• Vibrant Visuals:
  • Improved animation of End Crystal and Beacon beams.
  • Fixed animation of Beacon beams.
  • Weather now affects lighting and sky color.
• Quick item swapping after using a Riptide Trident no longer resets the player’s position.
• Foxes can once again pick up non-stackable items.
• Foxes no longer wear picked up armor.
• Bogged can now spawn riding Spiders in Swamps.
• Leads can no longer be used on angry untamed Wolves.
• The death screen no longer appears while the player is still alive.
