The new Minecraft 1.21.90.23 Beta for Android is out! The Player Locator Bar no longer requires experiments, Vibrant Visuals received improvements and various fixes.

Changes

• The explosion radius of Splash Potions is now determined by the distance to the entity's edges, not its center.
• The Player Locator Bar no longer requires experimental settings.
• The "Text Background Opacity" setting now affects hotbar tooltips and leaderboard displays.
• Chat background opacity can now be adjusted with a new accessibility setting.
• Parrots now imitate monster sounds less frequently.
• Vibrant Visuals:
  • Glass Blocks reflect light better.
  • Various MERS textures have been updated.
  • Metallic elements on Cauldrons and Ancient Debris have been tweaked.
  • Glowing effects on Eyeblossom have been adjusted.
  • Ender Crystal now has emissive textures.
  • Happy Ghast and Harnesses now have MERS textures.
  • Glow Lichen emissive textures have been adjusted.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a crash on PlayStation 5 when loading a world with leashed entities.
• Saving a large structure from the Structure Panel no longer makes the game unresponsive.
• The Harness is no longer invisible on a Happy Ghast when equipped by a Dispenser.
• The empty Bundle icon now renders correctly when using touch controls.
• When selecting "read-only" structures along with editable ones, the delete button remains active.
• Projectiles now fire in the correct direction when using custom cameras and touch input.
• Sprint jump attacks no longer remove all player momentum.
• Fixed stopping sprinting while swimming when hitting blocks.
• In Creative Mode, custom equippable blocks are now simply placed instead of being duplicated and equipped.
• Vibrant Visuals:
  • Water and Leaves no longer overlap.
  • The mode no longer applies to worlds that do not support it.
  • Snell's window effect when looking up from underwater is now improved.
  • Particles using the "particles_blend" material now render correctly.
  • Blocks held by Endermen now display correctly.
  • Reflections no longer cut off abruptly on the left side when moving the camera.
  • Reflections on water no longer flicker with higher FOV settings.
  • Clouds no longer have cracks when viewed up close.
  • The End flash is now visible again.
  • Moving blocks now cast proper shadows.
  • Textures no longer turn pink when opening settings or suspending the game.
  • Leather armor no longer has an emissive stripe on its texture.
• Ghasts can now move while shooting fireballs.
• Slimes and Magma Cubes no longer jump twice when finding or losing their targets.
• Magma Cubes and Slimes no longer deal damage after dying.
• Parrots now correctly imitate the sounds of Drowned.
• Parrots now correctly imitate the sounds of Wither Skeletons.
• When splitting an item stack with touch controls and moving it to a Bundle, the selected amount is now transferred correctly.
