Minecraft 1.2.13 — update adding new mobs and items, expanded enchantments, new blocks, and numerous fixes and performance improvements.

Changes

• Developer commands (iOS only):
  • /aigoals — view mob attributes.
  • /automate, /automatemove, /automatefly, etc. — run AI behavior trees.
  • /bhave — start behavior tree.
  • /bounds — toggle bounding box rendering.
  • /cleanroom — remove all entities across dimensions.
  • /crash — force Minecraft to crash.
  • /destroyblock, /dumpblocknames, /dumpentitiesclient, /dumpentitiesserver.
  • /enchantrandom — apply random enchantments.
• Blocks:
  • Stripped logs (experimental gameplay).
  • Prismarine slabs and stairs in three variants (experimental gameplay).
• Items:
  • Drowned spawn egg (experimental).
  • Trident — melee and throwable weapon (experimental).
• Mobs:
  • Drowned — spawn in oceans and rivers, zombies convert in water.
  • Drowned may carry tridents (obtainable in survival).
• Gameplay:
  • New enchantments: Channeling, Impaling V, Loyalty III, Riptide III (experimental).
  • Swimming animation when sprinting in water (experimental).
  • Realms: automatic backups with download/restore options.
  • Controller remapping and new UI animations.
  • Dispenser can equip armor onto armor stands.
  • Hay bales reduce fall damage; slime blocks now hurt when crouching.
  • Enchanted golden apples no longer craftable.
• General: mob spawn rates tweaked (ghasts, slimes, ocelots); llamas can be healed; add-on templates updated with new assets.

• Performance/Stability:
  • Chunk rendering and generation optimized.
  • Fixed multiple crashes (Android rendering, Realms, furnaces, D-pad input, redstone lamps, End transitions, etc.).
• General:
  • Improved split-screen, profile presence, world imports, and skin handling.
• Gameplay:
  • Villager trades fixed, crops harvesting restored, creeper/TNT behavior corrected, XP fixes.
• Items & Blocks:
  • Fixed durability, loot tables, diamond/chest loot, map alignment, snow layers, piston drops, redstone behavior.
• Mobs:
  • AI pathing fixes, spawning corrections, interaction fixes (wolves, parrots, villagers, wither, etc.).
• Redstone:
  • Observer rendering, comparator power, dispenser/droppers behavior fixed.
• Crafting & Exploits:
  • Removed duplication bugs, corrected recipe handling, fixed silk touch drops.
• Graphics & Audio:
  • Corrected textures, rain visibility, mob particles, lighting, UI scaling, End crystal beams, dragon head rendering, and sound playback.
• User Interface:
  • Fixed chat, book editing, HUD scaling, split-screen menus, controller navigation, creative inventory, import/export prompts.
• Commands:
  • Corrected /teleport, /give, /effect, /fill, banner states, TNT visuals, ocelot spawns.
